Congratulations Home Builders!
As of this September 2011, we will have completed two full years of the Home Builders Sunday School class and we can’t wait to start year three. Our mission is to study the Bible, discuss, encourage, and prepare young families on how to create and maintain a Godly home.
"Marriage Testimonies"
Our study this fall is "Marriage Testimonies." Each week we will have a guest couple from our Deacon and Elder Board and they are going to talk to us about the ups, downs, struggles and victories of their years of marriage. We are going to hear from both husband and wife on life lessons they have learned. This is a unique opportunity to learn, to get advice, and to get encouragement from years of wisdom. Our class theme verse is:
"By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures." Proverbs 24: 3 & 4
As we have studied, this verse is not a promise verse. It is an action verse. Rooms full of rare and beautiful treasures, as well as, wisdom, understanding and knowledge are not an automatic given to Christians from God. Instead, God requires action on our part. It is our prayer that you will join us when our fall quarter begins
We also want to say "Thank You" in advance to our Board Members and to your wife for your willingness to open your homes and their hearts to our class. We will be praying for you and pray that God will also bless your home and marriage.
